I've just read the Modern Library's list of the 100 Best Books. Why isn't anything by Stephenie Meyer on there?

are you seriously comparing twilight to the great gatsby? i dnt wanna be mean... but that's ridiculous. meyer isn't on the list cuz shes garbage. twilight is only a success cuz the characters are tweaked jus right for starry eyed tweens. hope i didn't offend anyone... jus my opinion.
