If I divorce my husband am I in titled to half of his trust fund money?

I have been married to my husband for 17 years but we have been together for 25years, He was in a very bad accident in 1995 which almost cost him his life, He received a very large settlement which was put in a trust fund and a monthly check is sent to him in his name. As the years have past his mind set has gotten very scary. He is over his own trust fund. which at times is not such a good thing, he forgets to pay the bills, he stopped going to the Dr. he canceled our health insurance, didn't pay the home owner insurance for 2 years, Before the accident He was on drugs very heavily, I was there with him as he was going Thur withdraws him stealing my kids money family members money I took care of him and, after nursing him back to heath from drugs then the accident. OK we bought a home cash paid off the truck,Well here is when it get funny in the past few month we have spit up he sleeps down stairs and I sleep up stairs, We don't do anything together anymore and I MEAN ANYTHING, I have gone to counselling over this now all I can think of is should we divorce and if so will I be able to get half of the trust fund money, We live in California.
