Why hasn't he asked me out yet?

So it has been a month now that I talk to this awesome guy that I really like, we went out twice only but we're always in touch, we can't spend a day without texting to each other or chattin. I feel that he likes me too. he did show it more than once. But it's rare that we flirt, even though we're both good at it. but we tease each other all the time. He thinks I'm a Tomboy and he likes it, because of my cloths (but he only saw me twice) and because I play videogames, I like speed and racing, and I wear no make up...(but I dont think that makes me a Tomboy...whatever).So right now I feel like we're going too slow. these past few days we didnt see each other and i though he might ask me out some time this week but he still didnt. I'm actually babysitting during the days, and he works too, and i'm free from 5pm and sometimes he is too, so i though that we could go out the nights. he also said that we're going to the beach next week end but he didnt say anything about that since. So today he was at work and he was online, I asked him what time he finishs work tomorow and he said he doesn't know and then he asked why? and just after that he said he has to go and he just Signed Out. Maybe it's because he has work to do or something that's why he went suddenly but this makes me feel awkward. I'm confused, does he really like me? does he really want to go out with me? and if so why hasn't he asked me out yet? Should I do somethin?
