19 year old college student who still lives with parents, minimum wage job, and decided to save for car?

So i make an average of $800/month. and tuition at school for me is $4,200/year. I'm driving my mom's car now, but i've just decided to start late at saving for my own. i have bad gas mileage so i pay over $150/month on gas. Are you in a worse situation than i am? I'll probably be over 25 by the time i buy the car. But i'll need a higher paying job if i'll even have a chance of moving out to an apartment. It's so hard for me to grow up by spending less time on internet and videogames and more time planning for future. I don't know where to look for higher paying job.
