What is an integrated graphics card?

I have a computer with a Radeon HD 4200 graphics card, but it says it is integrated!? Does this means that I cannot upgrade my graphics card for a better one? I wanted to buy one to play videogames but I do not know if that would be possible, How could I know this any expert here?
