Can someone PLEASE help me with a thesis?

I'm a freshman in college, and this paper I have to get done is seriously killing me. I've decided to write a paper on the short story called "A Rose For Emily" by William Faulkner. It's gotta be 7 full pages. I have to choose what I would like to argue (anything about the story- I can disagree or agree with someone else's argument as well)... and I have literally no idea. Anyone who has read this short story- do you have any ideas that have reliable library sources (cannot use internet sources) I can use? So far I have come up with "why Emily acts the way she does". Meaning why does she sleep with a corpse or commit homicide. Maybe it is because of an illness, or maybe it has to do something with her social status? I do not think this thesis will get me 7 pages. I am freaking out! Please help.
