What is Mumia Abu Jamal's version of the Faulkner murder?

I understand that the details are murky at best and highly contested. I see a lot of passion on both sides. I know all about the trial and the cover ups and the witnesses but what I can't seem to find anywhere is what does Mumia himself claim happened that night? What do his supporters think happened? I agree in that he did NOT receive a fair trial and that most of the evidence that was hidden or ignored is or may be in his favor, however the fact that I can't get a clear version or theory of what actually went down is rather frustrating. I know the prosecution's theory. Now what is the other side?
